A few weeks ago, I wrote about how much I hate Fall. I take it all back. Fall is wonderful!
This new revelation all started when I bought a new pair of skinny jeans. (Yes, I’m serious.) They’re the best jeans in the world because they have a lot of spandex in them. So they’re actually comfortable. And, with a new pair of skinny jeans, that meant I had to finally get out my boots. And while I was in my storage bins, I might as well get out my coats and sweaters and scarves. It’s like having a whole new wardrobe. For free.
And, of course, there was that night when the government decided to save daylight and I got an extra hour of sleep. I don’t know how that works, really, but I see no reason to investigate further.
Then, this past weekend, I went to the Shenandoah valley (click here for a few pictures from the trip!). Wow. It was gorgeous. The trees were so vibrant and colorful. The mountains looked like they had been tie-dyed with beautiful yellows, reds, and oranges.
And, to top it off, I found a pumpkin spice latte that was divine at this little wine and crafts festival in a barn. It was technically Russell’s drink – but I drank a good ¾ of it.
So, Fall, please stay for a while! No need to rush Winter in!
