I just found another picture of Farmer Russell:

Isn’t the cotton purdy? The farmer is pretty cute too. Although, I kinda think he looks a little like GI Joe on assignment in West Texas. Other than the blackberry. That’s how you know he really lives in DC.

But, he only gets to looking like GI Joe because he’s the most disciplined person. Ever. He works out every chance he gets and eats lean protein and veggies at every meal.  And that’s it.

I prefer the carb-ier side of life. Pasta. Cookies. Pie. Oh my.

So, I’m constantly searching for “healthy” carbs that I can get him to enjoy with me. Like my peanut butter oatmeal cookies. He would eat 10 of those everyday if I made them that often. And, according to my friend Nicole’s mother’s standards, they’re technically breakfast food since they don’t have any flour. I love justifications like that.

Since Ru is coming home today, I’m making him some whole wheat banana nut muffins with a yummy fudge-like peanut butter frosting. I’m going to make such a great housewife in Texas! 😉

MMMMM. Click here for the recipe.
